Specialist Facilitator Cyber Safety

Angela Mathew is an entrepreneur and parent of three children who lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.  

Working within the disability sector for the last 18 years, Ang has become an expert in navigating the labyrinthine bureaucracy of the NDIS in support of two of her children, as well as innumerable clients via her business Just Like Home.  

Managing an ever-changing national legal framework with the NDIA, to assist people with disability to live their lives to the fullest, and balancing the challenges of home and work, Ang runs on tremendous willpower and a wicked sense of humour.  

If you’re lucky enough to spend time with Ang, you’ll end up in awe of her capacity for the deepest empathy alongside the drive to not stop at the first sign of a challenge, resulting in the powerhouse signature move: ‘get things done’.  She is solutions focused.

She has constantly contributed to her community, placing the needs of her family, staff, and vulnerable people as priorities when disaster strikes, such as during the floods in Lismore in early 2022, the bushfires of 2019/2020 and COVID pandemic of 2019 to now, including opening her home to people left homeless, vulnerable and otherwise at risk.  

In her down time, Ang enjoys being active in nature, spending time with her children and puppies, and outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, swimming, and bush-walking.  

She’s also a big fan of dancing in the kitchen to an eclectic mix of 80’s & 90’s music up loud!
