Co-Founder of Safe on Social Indigenous Solutions

Martina is a proud Larrakia/Warai traditional owner from the Northern Territory and Co-Founder of Safe on Social Indigenous Solutions, based in Brisbane. Martina will lead a team of specialist online trust and safety educators to work with indigenous community leaders, businesses, and youth across our organisation.

Martina is a fearless leader, public speaker, educator, and community engagement expert dedicated to achieving social justice and Indigenous empowerment through cross-cultural collaboration.

​

Martina builds strong relationships with stakeholders, fosters teamwork, and embraces challenges as opportunities. With fifteen years of experience at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA), she has advocated for indigenous rights and managed diverse legal services.

​

Martina is highly regarded for her management, leadership, governance, and cross-cultural skills. As a mentor and role model, she goes above and beyond for her clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality and culturally appropriate services. In 2019 she was awarded the NATSILS Attorney General’s nationally coveted ‘Trevor Christian Memorial Award’ in recognition of her substantial positive contributions to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community for female leadership in law. She is also the first appointed Indigenous Board Director at Carers NT, where she passionately advocates for culturally appropriate support services for Aboriginal caregivers.
