Masterclass Session Two - Duty of Care
About the event
Duty of care can be one of the most challenging aspects of social media and the online world. As a teacher, where does it begin and where does it end? As a parent, when do you step in and act?
When challenges arise, knowing what to do, what evidence to gather and where to report it is paramount. And with the new Online Safety Act, knowing what to do is more important than ever as the ability to create change is greater than ever.
In this Masterclass, Safe on Social's Kirra Pendergast will share with you an overview of the New Online Safety Act as well as the Federal Laws and Inclosed Lands Act in relation to Social Media. She will also map out your Duty of Care along with the steps you can take to gather evidence and where to report what.
