About the event
The growing issue of adult cyberbullying is one we cannot overlook.Â
We frequently receive emails, phone calls, and comments from adults who have fallen victim to online harassment. We receive more reports about adult cyberbullying than kids. Unfortunately, government and law enforcement intervention in addressing this problem is often inadequate. This is why we have a dedicated team to provide support, guidance, and education to help adults combat cyberbullying effectively.
This webinar will be hosted by Kirra Pendergast who founded Safe on Social off the back of her personal experience with online bullying and gaslighting as a precursor to our face-to-face workshops. Â
Designed to address the ever-growing issue of adult cyberbullying throughout the webinar, we will cover:
- The growing prevalence of adult cyberbullying and its emotional impact.
- Strategies for recognising and handling online harassment.
- Tips for preserving evidence and seeking support from service providers.
- The importance of employer-led training on workplace bullying policies, both online and offline.
- Techniques for fostering a compassionate and supportive online environment that can be passed on to the next generation.
Join us for this engaging and informative webinar to equip yourself with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively handle cyberbullying and promote a safer online experience for adults. Together, we can make a difference in addressing the challenges of adult cyberbullying and create a more resilient online community.
All ticket holders will receive a recording and resources even if you can't make the actual live event.
